Are points deducted when an order is canceled or refunded?

Yes. When an order is  canceled or refunded,  the points are deducted from that customer's account. 

Note: We're not able to accommodate partial deductions for points. This means for partially refunded orders, you can either automatically cancel all of the points or none of the points. 

You can change when points are refunded by following the steps below:

  1. Go to your Smile.io admin.
  2. Click on 'Settings'.
  3. Then scroll down to the 'Order Status Settings' and change the option in the 'Cancel Points...' field.
