• How to limit the number of times customers can earn points on an action
With Smile, you can limit the number of times a customer can earn points on any given action.
Select the earning rule you'd like to limit from the Earning section of your points program.
Scroll down until you find the section called "Earning limit".
Check the checkbox to limit points earning on this action. Fill in the required fields to indicate how many times a customer can earn points on this action and within what time frame.
Once you've saved your changes, customers will not be able to earn points for that action beyond the limitations you've set.
There are some one-time actions that cannot be changed (following on Facebook, Instagram, for example.)
