Introduction

CM Commerce gives you the ability to reward customers for leaving product reviews, and allows you to add Smile data to your email marketing. Once a purchase is completed, you can prompt your customers to leave reviews with post-purchase emails. These reviews will automatically appear on your site and customers will be rewarded for completing the action.

Smile apps/integrations are only available on a Smile paid plan, on the Shopify and BigCommerce platforms.

Overview

The CM Commerce Smile app allows you to:

  1. Targeted emails to your customers who signed up for your Rewards Program, with certain points, etc. This is achieved through intelligent segmentation.

  2. Point rewards for customers who leave reviews.

  3. Follow-up e-mails triggering on Customer Birthday.

How to install the CM Commerce app

On the Apps page of your Smile Admin, select the CM Commerce app and click Install.

After you click install, you will be asked to authorize CM Commerce to read customers and manage activities. To accept, click Authorize.

This will redirect you to CM Commerce's website, where you will be asked to log in. Once you are logged in, you will be able to see that your Smile.io account has been authorized.

How customers earn points for reviews with CM Commerce

Once the CommerceCM app is all set up on Smile, it’s time to set up a CM Commerce earning action.

Go to the Earning page of your Points program and click Add ways to earn.

Scroll down to find the Store earning options. When you've found the CM Commerce Review a purchased Product option, click the Add action button.

Enter the number of points you would like customers to earn for leaving a review and click Create.

Once the rule is created, you have the option to set an Earning limit and other Earning conditions. These options can help you ensure that all the reviews a customer is leaving are legitimate.
