# Customize your brand colors 

> Customize the colors used throughout your loyalty program.

Your loyalty program can be styled to match your brand by updating the colors used across buttons, icons, and other key elements.

<Warning>
  **Important:** Display changes can take up to **15 minutes** to appear on your site. If you don't see updates right away, **wait a few minutes** and **refresh your browser cache** before checking again.

## Update your brand colors

To update your program's colors:

1. In Smile Admin, go to **Settings** > [**Branding**](https://app.smile.io/settings/branding).
2. Under **Brand colors**, choose the color you want to update.
3. Use the color picker or enter a hexadecimal color code.
4. Save your changes.

You can customize:

### Primary color

The primary color is a brand color that can be applied to elements throughout your loyalty program, including launcher buttons, panel banners, buttons, links, and icons.

### Secondary color

The secondary color is a brand color that can be applied to elements throughout your loyalty program. Use it alongside your primary color to create a consistent look across your loyalty program.
