# Add images to customer emails

> Add your logo and banner images to customize the appearance of Smile customer emails.

You can customize your customer emails by adding your store logo and banner images. Your logo is applied to every customer email, while banner images are configured individually for each email template.

## Add your logo

To add a logo that's used across all customer emails:

1. In **Smile Admin**, go to **Settings** > **Branding** > [**Email**.](https://app.smile.io/settings/branding/email)
2. Drag and drop your logo into the upload area, or upload it from your computer.
3. Click **Save**.

Once saved:

* Your logo is automatically added to all customer email templates.
* Clicking the logo in an email takes customers to your store URL.

**Recommended image size:** Minimum 400 × 144 px

**Supported file types:** PNG or JPEG

  **Tip:** Check out what your changes will look like on mobile and desktop in the Preview area before you save them. This area will update automatically as you apply changes to your email.

## Add a banner image

Banner images are configured separately for each customer email template.

To add a banner image:

1. In **Smile Admin**, go to **Settings** > [**Customer Emails**](https://app.smile.io/settings/customer-notifications).
2. Select the email you want to customize.
3. Upload your banner image.
4. Click **Save**.

Any future emails sent using that template will include the new banner image.

**Recommended image size:** Minimum 1200 × 480 px

Images are automatically scaled or cropped to fit these dimensions.

**Supported file types:** PNG or JPEG

  **Note:** When a free product reward appears in a customer email, the product image uses a fixed size defined by the email template. It can't be resized or customized in Smile Admin.
