# Choose a referral landing page

> Select which page on your store customers visit after clicking a referral link. 

A referral landing page lets you choose which page customers visit after clicking a referral link.

By default, referral links direct customers to your store's homepage. If you don't configure a referral landing page, your homepage will continue to be used. Referral landing pages are optional and are not required for referrals to work.

If you'd like customers to visit a specific page instead, such as a product page, collection page, or promotional page, you can set a referral landing page.

## Add a referral landing page

1. In Smile Admin, navigate to **Program > Referrals**.
2. In the **Referral landing page** field, enter the URL of the page you'd like referred customers to visit.
3. Click **Save**.

Once saved, customers who click a referral link will be directed to the page you've specified.

  **Important:** Enter the full URL, including `https://`. Referral links won't work correctly if the protocol is omitted. The URL must point to a page on your store.
