# Smile paid plan advantages

Want to take your program to the next level by boosting participation, driving repeat purchases, and re-engaging inactive customers?

Smile's paid plans include advanced features designed to help you achieve these goals. The features available depend on your plan, which are outlined below.

## Feature overview

### Loyalty Hub

<Check>
  **Plan availability:** Loyalty Hub is available on **Growth, Plus and Enterprise** plans.
</Check>

**What it does:** Provides customers with a dedicated page in their account to view points, redeem rewards, and track loyalty progress.

**Benefit:** Makes loyalty program engagement seamless, automatic, and on-brand—without custom coding.

**How it works:**

* Supported on **Shopify only** (not available on other platforms).
* Add Loyalty Hub through your [**Shopify Admin**](https://admin.shopify.com/settings/checkout).
* Not compatible with Shopify's legacy customer accounts.

### Points balance on account page

  **Plan availability:** Points balance on the account page is available on **Growth, Plus and Enterprise** plans.

**What it does:** Displays customers' points balance directly on their account page.

**Benefit:** Keeps loyal shoppers informed and allows you to encourage further engagement by showing ways to earn or redeem rewards based on their balance.

**How it works:**

* Supported on **Shopify only** (both legacy customer accounts and new customer accounts).
* Add through [**On-site content**](https://app.smile.io/on-site/accounts).

### Redeem points at checkout

  **Plan availability:** Redeem points at checkout is available on **Growth, Plus and Enterprise** plans.

**What it does:** Lets customers redeem their points for rewards directly during checkout.

**Benefit:** Provides a last-minute incentive for customers to complete their order with a discount, boosting loyalty and conversions.

**How it works:**

* Supported on **Shopify Plus only** (not available on other platforms).
* Add through [**On-site content**](https://app.smile.io/on-site/redeem-at-checkout).
* Currently supported in **English only** (even if checkout uses another language).

### Points expiry

  **Plan availability:** Points expiry is available on **Growth, Plus and Enterprise** plans.

**What it does:** Sets an expiration timeline for unused points.

**Benefit:** Creates urgency that motivates customers—especially inactive ones—to make another purchase.

**How it works:**

* Rolling expiry periods: options from 3 days to 2 years
* Configure expiry and reminder emails in [**Points Settings**.](https://app.smile.io/reward-programs/points)

### VIP program

<Check>
  **Plan availability:** VIP program is available on **Growth, Plus and Enterprise** plans.

**What it does:** Rewards loyal customers by offering tiers, milestone perks, and entry rewards.

**Benefit:** Incentivizes ongoing purchases and strengthens loyalty.

**How it works:**

* Configure tiers, entry rewards, and perks in [**VIP settings**.](https://app.smile.io/reward-programs/vip)

### Custom actions

**What it does:** Rewards customers for custom actions like completing a profile, watching a video, or subscribing to a newsletter.

**Benefit:** Increases program value by rewarding a wider range of customer interactions, which helps drive repeat purchases.

**How it works:**

* Requires someone with basic HTML and CSS experience.

### Embed points on the product page

  **Plan availability:** Embed points on the product page is available on **Standard**, **Growth, Plus, and Enterprise** plans.

**What it does:** Displays how many points customers will earn for a purchase directly on the product page.

**Benefit:** Increases program visibility and encourages purchases by showing real-time rewards value.

**How it works:**

* Supported on **Shopify only** (not available on other platforms).

### Bonus points campaigns

  **Plan availability:** Bonus points campaigns are available on on **Standard**, **Growth, Plus, and Enterprise** plans

**What it does:** Offers customers increased points on orders for a limited time, with the ability to schedule campaigns in advance so they run automatically.

**Benefit:** Creates urgency and incentivizes customers to shop during the campaign window, while making campaign management easier with automated scheduling.

**How it works:**

* Create a campaign in [**Bonus Campaigns**](https://app.smile.io/reward-programs/points-bonuses).

### Nudges

<Check>
  **Plan availability:** Nudges are available on **Essential**, **Standard**, **Growth, Plus, and Enterprise** plans.

**What it does:** Uses on-site reminders to increase program engagement and encourage members to use rewards, spend points, and refer friends.

**Benefit:** Increases redemption rates and encourages repeat purchases.

**How it works:**

* Enable in [**On-site content**](https://app.smile.io/on-site/nudges).
* Once enabled, Nudges appear on thank-you pages and cart pages.

### App integrations

  **Plan availability:** App integrations are available on **Essential**, **Standard**, **Growth, Plus, and Enterprise** plans.

**What it does:** Connects Smile to apps like email service providers, review platforms, and more.

**Benefit:** Expands program capabilities with targeted messaging, points for reviews, and added functionality.
