# Create a bonus points campaign with Shopify Sidekick

> Learn how to use Shopify Sidekick to set up a bonus points campaign for your loyalty program.

You can ask Shopify Sidekick to create a [bonus points campaign](/en/articles/8802037-manage-a-bonus-points-campaign). Sidekick opens the campaign form in Smile and fills in the campaign name, points multiplier, and schedule based on your request. You can review and change these details before launching or scheduling the campaign.

  **Feature availability:** Bonus points campaigns are available on **Standard, Growth, Plus, and Enterprise** plans.

## Create a campaign with Sidekick

1. Open Shopify Sidekick.
2. Ask Sidekick to create a bonus points campaign. For example, "Run a double points campaign this weekend."
3. Sidekick opens the bonus campaign form in Smile with the details filled in.
4. Review the campaign name, points multiplier, and schedule. Make any changes as needed.
5. Under **Applies to**, check which **Place an order** ways to earn are selected.
6. Click **Launch campaign** or **Schedule campaign**, depending on whether the campaign starts immediately.

If Sidekick's response doesn't match the details shown in the form, use the form to confirm your campaign settings.

  **Important:** Sidekick only fills in the campaign details. It never launches or schedules a campaign automatically. You must review the details and click **Launch campaign** or **Schedule campaign** to confirm.

## Good to know

* Sidekick can create new campaigns, but can't edit or cancel existing ones. To manage a campaign in Smile Admin, go to **Program** > [**Bonus campaigns**](https://admin.shopify.com/apps/smile-io/reward-programs/points-bonuses).
* Bonus points campaigns only apply to **Place an order** ways to earn. Other earning actions aren't included.
