# Move from a legacy loyalty landing page

> Learn how to replace a legacy loyalty landing page with Smile's new loyalty landing page.

If you previously created a loyalty landing page using Smile's theme app blocks in Shopify, you can move to the new version in Smile Admin.

## Let us move your landing page for you

Want us to take care of the move? The Smile team is happy to recreate your legacy loyalty landing page using the customization options available in the new landing page editor.

Email us at [**help@smile.io**](mailto:help@smile.io) or start a chat from this Help Center and we'll help get your new landing page set up.

If you'd prefer to make the move yourself, follow the steps below.

## Check which landing page you're using

The easiest way to identify the version you're using is to check the page URL.

#### **Legacy loyalty landing page**

Legacy landing pages are Shopify pages with `/pages/` in the URL.

#### **New loyalty landing page**

New landing pages contain one of the following in the URL:

* `/apps/`
* `/a/`
* `/community/`
* `/tools/`

Both versions can exist on your store while you set up the new landing page.

## Create a new loyalty landing page

Create and customize the new landing page from **Smile Admin > On-site content > [Landing page](https://admin.shopify.com/apps/smile-io/on-site/landing-page)**.

See [**Create and customize a loyalty landing page**](/en/articles/8174498-create-a-loyalty-landing-page) for complete setup and publishing instructions.

## Recreate landing page customizations

Content and customizations from the legacy landing page aren't automatically transferred to the new landing page.

The new landing page automatically displays content based on your loyalty program configuration, including ways to earn points, rewards, and VIP tiers. Use the landing page editor in Smile Admin to customize its appearance.

<Note>
  **Note:** The new landing page uses predefined sections. Shopify theme sections can't be added to the landing page.
</Note>

## Update links to the loyalty landing page

After publishing the new landing page, update any links that direct customers to the legacy page. This may include links in:

* Store navigation
* Homepage
* Email campaigns
* Other marketing materials

Find the new landing page URL in **Smile Admin > On-site content > [Landing page](https://admin.shopify.com/apps/smile-io/on-site/landing-page)**.

<Tip>
  **Tip:** We recommend keeping the default landing page URL. Changing the URL in Shopify can cause previously shared links to stop working.
</Tip>

## What happens to the legacy landing page?

The legacy landing page can continue to exist alongside the new landing page for now.

We recommend using the new loyalty landing page going forward and directing customers to it once setup is complete. Changes made to one version aren't reflected on the other.
