# Klaviyo integration overview

> Connect Smile.io with Klaviyo to sync loyalty data into your email and SMS campaigns.

## About Klaviyo

[Klaviyo](https://www.klaviyo.com/) is a marketing automation platform that unifies customer data and powers email, SMS, and multi-channel campaigns for ecommerce brands. When connected to Smile, you can sync loyalty data into Klaviyo profiles, trigger flows from program events, and reward customers for leaving Klaviyo Reviews.

## Features and functionality

With the Smile and Klaviyo integration, you can:

* Sync points balance, VIP tier, and referral URL to Klaviyo profiles
* Build flows triggered by loyalty events
* Segment audiences by points balance or VIP tier
* Reward customers for leaving Klaviyo Reviews

## Integration requirements

To use the Smile and Klaviyo integration, you must meet the following requirements:
