# Recharge integration overview

> Connect Smile.io with Recharge to automatically reward points on recurring subscription orders.

## About Recharge

[Recharge](https://recharge.com/) powers subscription billing for Shopify stores. When connected to Smile, customers can redeem their loyalty points for discounts on upcoming subscription orders, giving them an incentive to stay subscribed and engaged with your brand.

## Features and functionality

With the Smile and Recharge integration, you can:

* Reward points on subscription orders automatically
* Allow customers to redeem rewards on recurring purchases

## Integration requirements

To use the Smile and Recharge integration, you must meet the following requirements:
