# ReSci integration overview

> Connect Smile.io with ReSci to sync points balance and VIP tier into your email and SMS campaigns.

## About ReSci

[ReSci](https://www.retentionscience.com/) is an AI-powered email and SMS marketing automation platform built for ecommerce. When connected to Smile, you can sync loyalty data into ReSci customer profiles and use it as merge tags in emails or as conditions in audience segments.

## Features and functionality

With the Smile and ReSci integration, you can:

* Sync points balance, VIP tier, and referral URL to ReSci customer profiles
* Use Smile merge tags to display loyalty data in email and SMS campaigns
* Segment audiences by points balance or VIP tier

## Integration requirements

To use the Smile and ReSci integration, you must meet the following requirements:

  This integration is available on the Essential, Standard, Growth, Plus, and Enterprise plans. The number of integrations you can connect depends on your plan.
