Configure the timeframe

βœ… Tip: If your store has consumable goods such as food, we'd recommend using calendar year milestone, if you have larger goods such as furniture, Smile would recommend using the lifetime milestone.

  1. From Smile Admin navigate to Program > VIP.

  2. In the Tier settings section, click Edit.

  3. In the A customer has the following amount of time to achieve a VIP tier section, choose either Their lifetime as a rewards member or One calendar year.

  4. Click Save.

We have a guide on VIP milestones that will explain the differences between the timeframes.

All of the above settings can be configured before activating your VIP program, to change any of these settings in the future, your VIP program will need to be deactivated and then reactivated after the change has been made, as your customers will need to be recalculated.
