Smile has multiple ways to search for customers and find the customer you're looking for. Lookup customers by first name, last name, full name, or email to quickly jump to their customer profile and see all of their rewards information.
What to expect
When searching for a customer, the system returns results based on whether the search term you entered matches the start of the customer's first name, last name, full name, or email. It does not search the middle or end of the customer's name or email, and search is never case sensitive.
For example, if you enter Jo as your search term...
It will match:
A customer whose email is
joe@website.comA customer whose email is
joe123@website.comA customer whose name is
Joseph AndrewsA customer whose name is
Jo JeffriesA customer whose name is
Beth Jordan
It will not match:
A customer whose email is
fred@jo.comA customer whose email is
photojournalist@website.comA customer whose name is

✅ Tip: If your search doesn't return the customer you expect or returns a large number of results, try searching on the customer's full name or full email address instead (e.g. search Joana instead of just Jo).
Search by customer name
You can search for customers using their first name (e.g. Jennifer), last name (e.g. Martins), full name (e.g. Jennifer Martins), or the beginning of any of their names (e.g. Jenn or Mart).
In Smile Admin, go to the Customers page.
In the search bar, enter your search term.
The search will immediately begin when you stop typing.
Search results will be displayed below the search bar.
Search by customer email
You can search for customers using their full email (e.g. mike@website.com), or by just the start of their email (e.g. mike@).
