Yotpo allows you to easily add customer product reviews to your store. When a customer buys a product at your store, they will get an email asking them to leave a review, which will appear on the product page with a "verified purchase" tag.
The Yotpo Smile app allows you to:
Reward customers for reviewing your products
What you need to install the Yotpo app.
How to install the Yotpo app.
Enter your Yotpo API key and API Secret and click Connect to Yotpo.
How customers earn points for reviews with the Yotpo app.
Once the Yotpo app is connected to your Smile account, you need to set up the Yotpo earning action.
Scroll down to find the Smile Apps section. Click the Product review option.
Enter the number of points you would like customers to earn for leaving a review and click Create.
📝 Pro Tip:
Customize your Yotpo earning rule just like you would any other! Use unique names, details, and instructions to fully incorporate it into your rewards program.
Note: This earning rule requires customers to be a verified buyer.
Why customers didn't earn points for reviews
Customers are invited to leave reviews in an email post-purchase.If a customer does not leave a review through the form included in the email, they will not receive points because they will not be able to be classified as verified buyers.
Customers must leave the reviews for products at your store. We do not currently award points for Yotpo website reviews.
If a customer submitted their review through the form in an email and still did not receive points for this action, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org where we will be happy to look into this for you.
