Tapcart is a mobile app builder for Shopify stores. When connected to Smile, your loyalty program is available inside your mobile app, giving customers a reason to download it and keep using it.

Features and functionality

With the Smile and Tapcart integration, you can:
  • Show customers their points, VIP tier, and rewards in your app
  • Issue points for mobile app purchases
  • Reward customers for downloading your app & enabling push notifications
  • Let customers redeem rewards via the in-app checkout

Integration requirements

To use the Smile and Tapcart integration, you must meet the following requirements:

Have a Tapcart account

Have a Smile account with a paid plan

This integration is available on the Essential, Standard, Growth, Plus, and Enterprise plans. The number of integrations you can connect depends on your plan.

Setup instructions

In Smile Admin, install the integration, then refer to the Tapcart documentation for instructions on how to set up and configure the Smile and Tapcart integration. If you previously set up Tapcart using a Smile API key, your existing setup will continue to work. However, it won’t appear as a connected Tapcart integration in Smile Admin. If you’d like to switch to the latest version of the integration, reach out to Tapcart for guidance.
