Shopify Sidekick can answer questions about your loyalty program using Smile analytics. Before Sidekick can use data from Smile, you’ll be asked to approve the connection. Approval only applies to your current Sidekick conversation.

What you can ask Sidekick

You can ask Sidekick questions about your loyalty program, such as:
  • How is my loyalty program contributing to my business growth?
  • How are loyalty members performing compared to non-members?
  • How healthy is my loyalty program?
  • How is my referral program performing?
Smile provides Sidekick with analytics in the following areas:
  • Business growth
  • Performance benchmarks
  • Customer segments
  • Points activity
  • Referral performance

Data availability

Sidekick displays when the Smile analytics were last refreshed. If you’ve recently installed Smile or your analytics are still being generated, your data may take up to 24 hours to become available.

Use Smile with Sidekick

  1. Open Shopify Sidekick.
  2. Ask a question about your Smile loyalty program.
  3. When prompted, approve Sidekick’s request to use Smile.
  4. Sidekick uses Smile analytics to answer your question.
