Add loyalty page to customer account

The customer account loyalty page gives customers a dedicated place to view their loyalty points, track rewards, and redeem points for available rewards.

What to expect


Once added to your store, the customer account loyalty page is created and filled automatically - no code editing or cumbersome page builders required.

The page is compatible with all loyalty program configurations, ways to earn points, and ways to spend points. As your loyalty program changes, such as by adding new ways to earn & spend points, changing brand imagery, or enabling/disabling parts of your loyalty program, the page will update automatically.

Further customize the page by choosing typography, colors and section titles that create excitement and compliment your brand.

ℹ️ Note: The loyalty page isn't compatible with Shopify's legacy customer accounts. Merchants running legacy customer accounts can embed points on customer account.

Add loyalty page to customer account


  1. From Smile admin, navigate to On-site content.

  2. In the Customer account page section, click Setup.

  3. In the Quick setup section, click Go to account editor.

  4. In the left sidebar, find Loyalty page.

  5. Click + and add page to Accounts.

  6. Click Save.

βœ… Tip: If completing this step on a live checkout & account profile, your customers might be able to access the page immediately. Customer discovery is generally determined by whether a link to the new page has been added to the customer account navigation bar.


If you need time to preview the page before your customers access it, delay adding a link to the customer account navigation until you're ready for customers to see it, or consider configuring the page on a non-live checkout & account profile.

Add a link to the customer account navigation


  1. From Shopify Admin, click Content > Menus.

  2. Select Customer account main menu.

  3. Click + Add menu item.

  4. Type any label.

  5. Click Search or paste link > Apps > Loyalty page (Smile.io).

  6. Click Save.

The customer account loyalty page is highly customizible, enabling you to bring it on-brand and feel part of your store.
