Show or hide the loyalty launcher

Control where your launcher appears on your site, and choose when to show or hide it for customers.

Updated yesterday

The loyalty launcher is the on-site button that opens your program for customers. It allows them to access their loyalty account, check points, and redeem rewards directly from your store.

While the launcher helps customers engage with your loyalty program, it’s no longer the only way they can interact. If you’re using embedded content, customers may engage directly through those on-site components instead, and you may choose to hide the loyalty launcher.

💡 Important: If you’re not using embedded content, we recommend keeping the launcher visible so customers can find and participate in your loyalty program.

Feature availability:

✅ Hiding the loyalty launcher is available on Starter, Growth, Plus, and Enterprise plans.

✅ Merchants on the Free plan can hide the launcher on mobile devices only.

Choose where to display the launcher

If you’re using the launcher, you can decide where it appears in your store using the Visibility settings in Smile Admin.

To update the launcher visibility:

  1. In Smile Admin, navigate to Settings > Branding > Theme > Visibility.

  2. Select the visibility option that fits your program.

  3. Click Save.

ℹ️ Note: The launcher is automatically hidden on account and sitemap pages in BigCommerce, and on checkout pages in Shopify and BigCommerce.

Hide the launcher on your homepage

You can choose to hide the launcher from your homepage if you don’t want it visible when customers first visit your store.

To hide the launcher on your homepage:

  1. In Smile Admin, navigate to Settings > Branding > Theme > Visibility.

  2. In the Page Visibility card, select Hide on homepage.

  3. Click Save.

Hide the launcher on specific pages

You may want to hide the launcher on certain pages — such as your Terms and Conditions, Contact Us, or other legal or informational pages.

To hide the launcher on a specific page:

  1. In Smile Admin, navigate to Settings > Branding > Theme > Visibility.

  2. In the Page Visibility card, click Add new condition.

  3. Enter the URL path (for example: /blog) for any pages where you want to hide the launcher.

  4. Click Save.

⚠️ Warning: Use the homepage-specific instructions above for hiding the launcher only on your homepage. If you include your homepage (for example: mystore.com/) in the Add new condition setting, the launcher will be hidden on all pages of your site.
