A loyalty landing page and Loyalty Hub both give customers a dedicated place to engage with your loyalty program, but they live in different parts of your store and serve different purposes. A loyalty landing page lives in your Shopify storefront alongside your other store pages and can be accessed by all visitors. It introduces your loyalty program and explains how it works. Logged-in customers can also see key information about their loyalty account. Loyalty Hub lives within the customer account and is available only to logged-in customers. It provides an interactive space where customers can manage their loyalty activity, complete earning actions, and redeem rewards. You can use either experience on its own or use both together.

Loyalty landing page

The loyalty landing page is a dedicated page where customers can learn about your loyalty program and, when logged in, view personalized loyalty information.
Feature availability: The loyalty landing page is available on Essential, Standard, Growth, Plus, and Enterprise plans for merchants on the Shopify platform.
All visitors can use the landing page to learn about your program, including how to earn points, available rewards, and VIP tiers. When a customer is logged in, the landing page can also display:
  • Points balance
  • Pending points balance
  • Store credit balance
  • VIP tier
  • Points expiry date
  • VIP tier expiry date
Note: Store credit expiry dates aren’t displayed on the loyalty landing page.
If a customer has store credit in multiple currencies, the landing page only displays store credit that matches your loyalty program’s base currency. The landing page displays loyalty information but doesn’t allow customers to take loyalty actions directly from the page. Customers can’t:
  • Complete earning actions, such as following a social account, clicking a link, or entering a birthday
  • View redeemed but unused rewards
  • View their points history
  • View progress toward their next VIP tier
A loyalty landing page is a good choice when you want all visitors to be able to learn about your program, while giving logged-in customers access to key loyalty information.

Loyalty Hub

Loyalty Hub is an interactive loyalty page designed for logged-in customers.
Feature availability: Loyalty Hub is available on Growth, Plus, and Enterprise plans for merchants on the Shopify platform.
Inside Loyalty Hub, customers can:
  • View their points balance.
  • See available rewards.
  • Redeem rewards to receive discount codes.
  • Complete earning actions.
  • Enter their birthday.
  • Access their referral link and track referral activity.
  • View their VIP tier status and progress.
Because customers must log in, Loyalty Hub supports active points management, reward redemption, referrals, and VIP tracking.

Using Loyalty Hub instead of the Smile panel

Loyalty Hub can replace the Smile panel and launcher as your primary loyalty experience. When used this way, customers visit a Loyalty Hub to manage their points and rewards. The Smile panel and launcher are not used, and Loyalty Hub becomes the central location for loyalty activity on your store.

Using both together

The loyalty landing page and Loyalty Hub can work together to support customers at different stages of their loyalty experience. The loyalty landing page gives all visitors a place to discover your loyalty program and understand how it works. Logged-in customers can also view key loyalty information from the page. Loyalty Hub gives logged-in customers a dedicated space to take action, manage their points, and redeem rewards. Using both gives customers a place to learn about the program before logging in and a more interactive experience once they’re ready to manage their loyalty account.
