Keeping your billing information (such as your credit card number or expiry date) up to date is important to ensure uninterrupted access to your Smile account. How you update your billing details varies depending on the billing method your account uses.
Update payment details for Stripe billing
If your credit card is billed directly by Smile through Stripe, you can update your billing information in Smile Admin. To review and update your payment details:
In Smile Admin, navigate to Settings > Billing.
In the Payment method card, click Update.
Enter the required information, then click Payment info.
Enter the credit card details, click Update credit card.
Update payment details for Shopify billing
If you pay for Smile through Shopify billing, your payment information must be updated through your Shopify account—not in Smile Admin. You can update billing information directly in Shopify.
Update payment details for invoice billing
If you pay for Smile via manual invoice, please reach out to our team (help@smile.io) to review or update your payment information.
Update billing email address in Smile
Your billing email address is stored in your general settings in Smile. To review or update the email address used for billing:
In Smile Admin, navigate to Settings > General.
In the Billing Details card, update the email address you’d like to use for billing.
Click Save.
