Spending points on behalf of a customer enables you to issue a reward code directly to a customer from within Smile Admin. This can be helpful when a reward needs to be issued manually.
Spend points for a customer
To redeem a reward on behalf of a customer:
In Smile Admin, navigate to Customers.
Search for the customer you want to redeem points for.
Select the customer.
In the Points card, click Spend points.
Choose the reward you’d like to redeem.
Click Redeem reward.
Click Copy code to copy the reward code.
Click Done.
ℹ️ Note: The customer will automatically receive an email with the reward code included.
