When customizing your loyalty program, you can personalize three key names in Smile: store name, program name, and points currency name. Each affects different parts of your customer experience. This article explains what each one is, where it appears, and how to update them.
Store name
Your store name is the name of your business as it appears in your Smile account and in some customer-facing areas, such as email notifications and the panel. It helps identify your brand and is usually the same name your customers recognize from your website.
Your store name is pulled into Smile from your eCommerce platform, but you can edit it in your general settings at any time.
Program name
Your program name is the branded name of your loyalty program. This is what customers see when interacting with your program in the panel and in emails. You can edit it directly in the reward panel settings.
If you leave this field blank, it will default to your store name. Updating it to a specific program name reinforces your brand identity and makes your loyalty experience feel unique.
Points currency name
Your points currency name is what you call the points your customers earn and spend. This name appears anywhere your points balance or earning and spending rules are shown. Itβs a small change that can make your loyalty program feel more personal.
