Smile defaults to calling your points currency points, however you can add a custom currency name to your loyalty program. A custom points currency name allows you create a unique experience for your customers and match other branded elements of your program.

Create or edit points currency name

A custom points currency name is visible for customers in the Smile panel and in any emails sent from Smile. You can add a plural and singular version of the name to ensure it sounds correct when talking about multiple points or one point. To create or edit your program points currency name:
  1. In Smile Admin, navigate to Program > Points.
  2. In the Points branding section find the Points currency card.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Add a Plural and Singular version of the name.
  5. Click Save.
Note: It may take up to 15 minutes for a new or updated points currency name to be reflected on your store (either in the Smile panel or within any embedded components).
