Limiting earning actions can ensure you've got control of the number of points customers are earning for any given action within your loyalty program. This article will show you how to configure limiting the number of times a customer can earn points on any given action.

Configuration steps


From Smile Admin, navigate to Program > Points.

Click the name of the Ways to earn action you would like to edit.

  1. In the Earning value section, check the box for Limit the number of times each customer can complete this action

3. Choose the timeframe and number of times you'd like the customer to complete the earning action

4. Click Save

ℹ️ Note: Social media earning actions are all one-time and cannot be changed
