Adding new ways to earn points encourages your customers to interact with your brand in different ways to build up their points. There are multiple ways your customers can earn points.
Create a new way to earn points
From Smile Admin navigate to Program > Points > Add ways to earn.
Click the points earning option you'd like to add.
In the Earning value section, input the number of points you'd like to offer for this action.
Click Save.
Edit the icon
💡 Important: The image size needs to be 90px by 90px
From Smile Admin navigate to Program > Points.
In the Ways to earn section on that action you'd like to configure, click Edit.
In the Icon section, click Upload your own.
Drag and drop an image to upload or click Add image.
Click Save.
Enable/disable an earning action
From Smile Admin navigate to Program > Points
In the Ways to earn section on that action you'd like to configure, click Edit.
In the Summary section click Disabled.
Click Save.
Customers will now no longer be able to earn points using this action.
To reactivate this earning action, follow steps 1-3 and choose Active instead of Disabled.
Edit the name
ℹ️ Note: This option is only available on Smile's paid plans
From Smile Admin navigate to Program > Points > View ways to earn.
Click the points earning option you'd like to Edit.
Click Edit name.
Click Custom name.
Enter the new name of the points earning action.
Click Save.
Click Save.
ℹ️ Note: Any UI changes can take up to 15 minutes to show on your store.
