Note: do not continue with this tutorial unless your VIP program has been enabled.

A milestone is what a customer has to do before they can join a specific tier of your rewards program.  


There are 2 types of milestones to choose from:

Revenue

A revenue-based milestone is based on how much money a customer spends with your store in a given time period.

These time periods are in the last year (rolling 365 days) or since program launch (all time).

Points

A points-based milestone is based on how many points a customer earns with your store in a given time period.

These time periods are in the last year (rolling 365 days) or since program launch (all time).

📝   Pro Tip:

If your program is set up with a rolling 365 day timeline, a customer must meet your milestone criteria in order to remain in their current tier.  If they don't, they will automatically be moved down to the appropriate tier.

Customers who reach the top tier of a program with an all time timeline will stay there forever as no additional criteria must be met.

To set your program milestones, open the Milestone option dropdown menu on your VIP program's Settings page.

Select the type of milestone you'd like to set up.

Once you've saved your changes and enabled your program, customers will be sorted into tiers based on the milestone you've chosen.
