The launcher is often the first interaction customers have with your loyalty program, helping them discover, join, and engage with your rewards. Customizing its icon, text, placement, color, and shape ensures it reflects your brand and provides a seamless, engaging experience from the very first click.
Important: Launcher changes can take up to 15 minutes to appear on your site. If you don’t see your updates right away, please wait a few minutes and refresh your browser cache before checking again.
Customize your launcher text and icon
Customize your launcher to match your brand and site design. A clear, recognizable launcher helps customers quickly find and access your loyalty program.
To customize your launcher, go to On-site content > Launcher.
From there, you can:
- Customize your launcher’s text and icon for desktop and mobile.
- Preview your launcher on desktop and mobile devices before saving your changes.
Adjust these settings to create a launcher that fits seamlessly with your storefront.
Choose a launcher icon
Your launcher icon is one of the most effective ways to make your loyalty program memorable and recognizable. A distinctive icon helps customers quickly identify and engage with your program.
To customize your launcher icon, go to On-site content > Launcher.
In the Icon card, choose from Smile’s set of default icons or upload your own custom image.
To add a custom icon, select Upload your own icon, and upload a square image that’s 108 × 108 px.
Choose your launcher color
Your launcher color helps your loyalty program stand out and ensures customers can easily find and interact with it. Choosing the right color also helps the launcher feel consistent with your brand.
To update your launcher color, go to On-site content > Launcher.
In the Colors card, use the drop-down menus to select colors for your launcher background and text. For best results, choose colors with enough contrast to keep your launcher visible and accessible to all customers.
Change your launcher shape
Your launcher shape helps define how your loyalty program appears on your site and can influence how customers interact with it. Choose a shape that fits naturally with your site’s design and branding.
To update your launcher shape, go to On-site content > Launcher.
In the Button shape card, use the drop-down menu to select the shape you’d like to apply to your launcher.
