You can use this guide to check which browsers and devices are supported when accessing the Smile admin (for managing your program) or the Smile shopper experience (for your customers using loyalty on your storefront).

Browser Support

To ensure security, performance, and a consistent experience for you and your customers, Smile follows modern web standards and aligns with Shopify’s browser policy for storefronts.

Smile supports up-to-date versions of major browsers, including:
  • Google Chrome (desktop and mobile)
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Apple Safari (macOS and iOS)
  • Samsung Internet
Browsers that no longer receive security updates — such as Internet Explorer, legacy Edge, or older Safari versions — may not work correctly with Smile Admin or the Smile shopper experience. Keep your browser up to date for the best experience.

Device Support

Smile works across modern devices and screen sizes:
  • Desktop and Laptop Computers using recent versions of Windows, macOS, or Linux
  • Tablets running the latest versions of iPadOS or Android
  • Smartphones running the latest versions of iOS or Android
For the best performance, make sure your device’s operating system and browser are up to date.
