Browser Support

To ensure security, performance, and a consistent experience for your and your customers, Smile follows modern web standards and aligns closely with Shopify’s browser policy. We officially support the latest two major versions of the following browsers:
  • Google Chrome (desktop and mobile)
  • Mozilla Firefox (desktop and mobile)
  • Microsoft Edge (latest Chromium-based versions)
  • Apple Safari (macOS and iOS)
  • Opera (desktop)
Older browsers or those that no longer receive security updates (like Internet Explorer, legacy Edge, or older Safari versions) may not work properly with Smile.

Smile works across modern devices and screen sizes:
  • Desktop and Laptop Computers using recent versions of Windows, macOS, or Linux
  • Tablets running the latest versions of iPadOS or Android
  • Smartphones running the latest versions of iOS or Android
