Introduction
Adding new ways to earn points is a great way to keep your customers engaged with your rewards program! They can be used to encourage your customers to perform specific behaviors, like buying more on your store, or following on social media.

Updating or adding new ways to earn points
1. To add a new earning rule to your points program, go to Program > Points. Then click the Add ways to earn button.
2. Select the earning action you'd like to add by clicking on the name of the action.
3. Fill in the required fields to complete the earning action setup.
📋 Note: fields may differ based on the earning action selected.
📝 Smile Pro Tip: Consider industry standards and your customer data to determine how many points your earning action should be worth.
Click Save to save the action you just made! 🔒
Once the action is created, customers will be able to see it in in your customer Panel under the Ways to Earn section.
📋 Note: if you also use Shopify POS the rewards that you've added will apply to the POS orders as well. Just make sure to check your Order Settings (Settings > Platform > Order Settings)
