Adding ways to redeem allows customers to spend the points they’ve earned in your program on rewards. You can choose which rewards to offer and set how many points are required for each. You can edit or update a way to redeem at any time.

Create a new way to redeem
Creating a new way to redeem adds a reward to your loyalty program that customers can spend points on.
To configure a new way to redeem:
In Smile Admin, navigate to Program > Points.
Click Add ways to redeem.
Select the reward you’d like to offer.
In the Reward value card, enter the required points and the discount amount.
Click Create.

Edit an existing way to redeem
You can edit an existing way to redeem at any time.
To update a reward:
In Smile Admin, navigate to Program > Points.
In the Ways to redeem card, find the reward you'd like to update and click Edit.
Make your desired changes.
Click Save.
Activate or disable a way to redeem
When a way to redeem is active, it appears in the Smile panel as a reward customers can spend their points on. If it's disabled, it will no longer appear in the panel and won't be available for point redemption.
To activate or disable a reward:
In Smile Admin, navigate to Program > Points.
In the Ways to redeem card, find the reward you'd like to update and click Edit.
In the Summary card click Active or Disabled.
Click Save.
💡 Important: Disabling a way to redeem won't remove previously issued rewards—customers can still use existing coupons on a purchase.
