Install the Klaviyo integration

To install and configure the Smile and Klaviyo integration:
  1. In Smile Admin, install the Klaviyo integration.
  2. Follow the instructions to connect the integration to your Klaviyo account.
  3. Once connected, on the Klaviyo integration settings page, click Sync customer data.
Note: The first data sync can take anywhere from a few minutes to a couple of hours, and only needs to happen once. The exact duration will depend on the number of customers in your Smile account.

Customize Klaviyo with loyalty data

Once you’ve setup the Klaviyo integration, the possibilities are endless! Here are a few ideas to get you started:
  • Create segments of customers based on Smile loyalty data, and use these segments for targeted email campaigns.
  • Use pre-built Klaviyo flows to send fully customizable reward program emails through your Klaviyo account (instead of using Smile’s built-in emails).
  • Add reward information to email campaigns by using the Smile profile properties in your Klaviyo emails.
