Before you can configure entry rewards, make sure your VIP tiers are already configured. When a customer enters a VIP tier with an entry reward configured, Smile automatically issues the reward. This article explains how to add entry rewards to each tier.
Feature availability: VIP is available on Growth, Plus, and Enterprise plans.

Add an entry reward to a VIP tier

  1. From Smile admin, navigate to Program > VIP.
  2. In the VIP tiers section, select the tier you want to add a reward to.
  3. In the Entry rewards section, click Add reward.
  4. Select a reward type.
  5. Configure the reward details.
  6. Click Create.
Repeat these steps to add more entry rewards to the same tier or to configure entry rewards for other tiers.

Delete an entry reward from a VIP tier

  1. From Smile admin, navigate to Program > VIP.
  2. In the VIP tiers section, select the tier you want to remove the reward for.
  3. In the Entry rewards section, click the reward.
  4. Click Delete.
  5. Confirm and click Delete reward.

Important considerations

  • Entry rewards are only issued when a customer moves to a higher tier. Smile does not issue entry rewards when a customer retains their current tier or moves to a lower tier.
  • Entry rewards are not issued when tiers are assigned through a CSV import or during the initial tier calculation when a VIP program is first activated.
