Allowing signed-in customers to redeem points at checkout gives them a last-minute incentive to apply a discount to their order. This can help increase engagement and strengthen long-term customer loyalty.
Feature availability: Redeem points at checkout is available on Growth, Plus, and Enterprise plans for merchants on Shopify Plus.

Add redeem points to the checkout

  1. From Smile Admin, navigate to On-site content.
  2. In the Redeem at checkout section, click Setup.
  3. In the Quick setup section, click Go to checkout settings.
  4. In the Configurations section, click Customize.
  5. In the Information section, click Add app block.
  6. Search for Smile.
  7. Choose Redeem points.
  8. Click Save.
Note: In the Checkout behavior settings, you can also choose to show the app block in Shop Pay.
